Four stories high in Rotterdam

Caught this nice piece on our way out of Holland. Impressive size and detail. Check it out in the following pics - some nice techniques employed here inc. some great texture effects. The artist is Onesto. There was a plaque at the bottom saying "Dier Gaar Desingel" if that means anything to anyone?

Bumped into Netta Peltola, a lovely young Finnish artist in Old Street about a month ago. She was doing her first commission - a mural on 333 Mother. We had a rave for a while and she told me she was just about to start a design school course. I was bowled over by this girl - an obvious abundance of natural talent and the confidence to sit on Old Street by herself for the whole weekend (she told me she'd been approached by more than her fair share of weirdos) doing this fantastic mural. I'm guessing Netta will be subsidising her course fees with a healthy dose of commissions. Good luck Netta.

I have chucked some more pics of the 333 Mother mural and her Cargo mural up on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/hamstar/sets
