I-Nations 3rd birthday with a stellar lineup of NZ original music spread over 2 days with 2 zones. From 1983 to 1995 the site was used for the well known Whitecliffs Family Music Festive. As New Zealand music evolved, so did the style of outdoor parties. Whitecliffs then became the host to some of this country's finest outdoor dance events: En-Train, The Gathering and New Beginnings.

With an all star line up of some of Aotearoa's finest musical talents, I-Nation was an almost unmissable event. Luckily for us stuck over here missing out on this wealth of Kiwi entertainment, there's peeps like the lovely Gill Redfern photographing these events for us.
